Hayley Bennett is a Double Threat - Look out!

GREAT NEWS! Barbizon of Akron grad, Haley Bennett, will be starring in not one but two films. She plays Julie in “The Hole 3D” and Charlotte in “Arcadia Lost.” Check out the movie trailers below!

 Hayley has done so much since graduating from Barbizon! In 2004, while on summer vacation, Haley was discovered in Los Angeles. After graduating high school in 2005, she and her mother moved to Los Angeles so that Haley could pursue her singing and acting career. 

Haley has signed a three-picture contract with Warner Bros. The first of which was her debut role in the movie "Music & Lyrics" (released 2007) in which she portrayed pop-diva Cora Corman. She is looking into recording her first album.  We can't wait to see more of Hayley and hopefully hear her on the radio!!!

Hoosier Mamma!

Katrina Hoering from Merrillville, Indiana graduated from Barbizon Midwest and shortly after her graduation last November, she walked the runway in the Gen New Faces showcase in Chicago.  She recently signed with top agency DNA model management (check out her portfolio here! http://www.dnamodels.com/#/women/katrina-hoernig/portfolio ) and will be spend the summer modeling in NYC!

After the  Factor Women New Gen Show , 

she had two clients talk with her about booking Katrina for upcoming work. Katrina was in the advertisement for Factor Women in that months issue of CS - which was in the Goodie Bag at the fashion show.  Look on the news stand for an issue! 

Katrina is keeping busy and has gone to castings for Seventeen magazine, Shopbop.com and Urban Outfitters. (check out a cool shoot with Katrina here: http://fotodarco.com/?p=472). She has already been to castings with H&M, Avon and CS Magazine. 

Aside from the fashion world, she has done some acting as well.  Look for her in the Airborne commercial and The United Auto Insurance commercial.

Here is my story on my amazing experience with Barbizon!

Barbizon was such a life changing experience. Even from the first day, I met awesome people and was immersed in knowledge of the industry. I always looked forward to classes, it was my favorite time to come and learn about this new industry with other people like me. During our classes we would practice our modeling with movement and walking OR work on our acting by practicing scripts and improv games. As our relationships grew stronger and our knowledge of the industry was being broadened, we started preparing for our final graduation day with the runway show and the acting bits. As the day of the show arrived we were shaking with excitement as our moment came to shine with our newly polished talents. The graduation show was a life changing experience. I felt unstoppable walking down the runway with my new found confidence. The classes were such a great way to learn about the industry and meet new friends. Barbizon helped me break into the modeling industry full force. I have so much to thank Barbizon for, their classes and teachers ensured my success into the modeling industry. I am now under contract with two amazing modeling agencies,  Factor Women Chicago and DNA New York.  Barbizon jump started me in the industry I now call my career!

Hello Chanel - O!!!

Barbizon Midwest Iowa Grad, Courtney Goetsch walked in the Fall/Winter 2007 Chanel fashion show!! She is the first model out to open the show.  Watch her strut her stuff below-Karl Lagerfeld sure has great taste. 

Other fashion shows she has walked in was Spring/Summer 2008 Ready to Wear Jeremy Laing collection. 

After signing with IMG models she has spent the past few month models in Bangkok, Japan and Thailand.  She has been featured in numerous fashion shoots and walked the catwalks all over Thailand!  She has also been doing some commercial print work in Thailand as well.

There are no secrets with Jordan Monaghan!

Barbizon Midwest teen model Jordan Monaghan has booked several print ads for companies such as Sketchers, Forever 21, Ed Hardy, Pottery Barn Teen, BCBG, Sony, and Billabong!

 In addition, she has booked national commercials for Wal-Mart and Tinactin Foot Cream. Jordan has also landed a supporting role in the movie “Betty Ann Waters” with Hilary Swank.  

This Barbizon Midwest Michigan Grad also hold the title of Miss Italia USA 2008!

She plays Kelsey on 'True Jackson VP' on Nickelodeon and Maria on 'The Secret Life of an American Teenager' on ABC - Way to go Jordan!

Riding Down the Runway!

Holly Ridings of Roscoe, IL graduated from Barbizon Midwest at age 15 and was awarded Ms. Barbizon International 2000.

At IMTA in New York 2000, Holly was one of the most sought after fashion models with over 80 callbacks from international and national fashion agents. Holly has modeled both nationally and internationally in runway shows as well as print campaigns. She was a Ralph Lauren model, Express stores model and in the Kohl's catalog. She appeared on the cover of Foam magazine with a 3-page spread on surfing. Below is a picture of her on a billboard in L.A.,  promoting L.A. Direct Magazine ,Holly has also toured Paris, Milan and London on the runway show circuit.

 She has auditioned for many magazines including Vogue, Glamour, Cosmo, Seventeen, Harper's Bazaar and Elle.

Holly was also in the March 2009 issue of Chicago Magazine for their cover article on 'Who Makes What'.

Breanna just taped a part in a new animated movie (and got her SAG card!), called "Dorothy of Oz" starring Leah Michelle from Glee.  Besides, Leah this movie has an all star line up: James Belushi, Dan Aykroyd, Hugh Dancy, Oliver Platt, Kelsey Grammer and Martine Short!  Coming out in 2010, it's produced with state of the art graphics and the latest 3D techniques for animation-WOW!

It doesn't stop for Breanna on the big screen, she has now written 15 original songs and is being seriously looked at by Hayden Pattinierre's music manager in NYC, Val Morris.  Breanna will be producing 2 of her songs and then Val will evaluate the finished project!

From one Kramme Brother to another!

Barbizon Midwest, Christian Kramme could be the  "new face of Nickelodeon" as he has been selected as a Lead-series regular for a new pilot - Telepathetic (See synopsis here: http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/hr/content_display/television/news/e3ib022d07c4ee57d29d3d9dc56d14bc465)

The journey for Connor back in May started when he actually went to test for two Nickelodeon pilots at the same time as well as had Disney strongly looking at him for a pilot.

Christian also is the voice for Sea World Fun Card national commercial.
